Jimmy Grindstaff is the owner and lead auctioneer of BidGrindstaff, bringing years of experience in online and onsite auctions, personal property, real estate, farm equipment, and business liquidations. Known for his steady leadership and practical expertise, Jimmy has helped hundreds of families and business owners find stress-free solutions during life’s biggest transitions.
Jimmy built BidGrindstaff on simple guiding principles: honesty, good communication, and doing right by people. His commitment to service — paired with a strong understanding of local markets and the latest auction technology — allows him to deliver smooth processes and superior outcomes for both buyers and sellers.
When Jimmy isn’t conducting auctions, he’s actively engaged in the local community, supporting small businesses, helping families settle estates, and bringing professionalism to every project he touches.

John Henry Grindstaff
John Henry Grindstaff is the co-owner of BidGrindstaff and has grown up in the auction business, gaining firsthand experience across every part of the industry. John’s specialties include firearms, military memorabilia, aviation items, and historical collections, where his knowledge and passion help sellers achieve top market value and give buyers confidence in every transaction.
John plays a key role on both the setup and inventory team for online auctions as well as the preparation and operations for Live auctions. His attention to detail, hands-on experience, and deep familiarity with specialty categories make him an invaluable resource for consignors with unique or high-value assets.
